If you are not having any luck finding a home through adoptapet.com and wish to surrender your animal to our shelter directly you will need to come into our facility and put down a cash deposit to setup an appointment.
Due to Finding Forever Rescue typically running at full housing capacity in our rescue, we require an appointment for all animal relinquishments. This is to ensure that all of our animals are comfortable and have the space that they need.

Finding Forever Rescue is continually booking intake appointments for cats and kittens. At times, intake scheduling may be several months out, though we always do our best to move appointments forward whenever space becomes available.
We strongly encourage owners to sign up kittens as early as possible so we can work to bring them into our care at the appropriate age and timing. If relinquishing kittens, the mother cat must already be spayed or have a confirmed spay appointment scheduled at the time of surrender.

$40 per cat
$60 per litter surrendered under 4 months of age
Relinquishment fees are non-refundable, including if other arrangements are made before the scheduled intake date.

You may visit the rescue during business hours to complete paperwork and submit the relinquishment fee:
Tuesday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
At the time of sign-up, we will provide carriers for transporting the cats safely to our rescue. Cats must be transported in the carriers we provide unless you choose to donate the carrier you bring them in.
Cats must be friendly and handleable!
For the safety of our staff, volunteers, and animals, all cats and kittens must be social, friendly, and able to be safely handled in order for us to accept them into our program.
Cats must be able to live with other cats!
All cats and kittens at Finding Forever Rescue are housed in free-roaming community cat rooms. Because of this, we are only able to accept cats that can safely and comfortably coexist with other cats.
