Looking to rehome your pet or a found stray?
The shelter environment can be very stressful for animals. If our appointments are booked out far in advance, the environment would cause them high amounts of stress, or if you would like to know where they end up we always recommend listing them on AdoptAPet at our "rehome link" below
This website is not our website, if you are having any issues listing your pet on the rehoming link please reach out to AdoptAPet
Rehome Link
If you are not having any luck finding a home through adoptapet.com and wish to surrender your animal to our shelter directly you will need to come into our facility and put down a cash deposit to setup an appointment.

Due to Finding Forever Rescue typically running at full housing capacity in our rescue, we require an appointment for all animal relinquishments. This is to ensure that all of our animals are comfortable and have the space that they need.

In order for us to intake kittens or puppies, we require their mothers to be spayed

Need to relinquish them to Finding Forever?

Cats

To schedule an intake appointment, we require a $40 relinquishment fee per cat OR a $60 relinquishment fee per litters surrendered under 4 months of age. This fee is non-refundable for any reason, including if you find homes for the animals prior to their scheduled intake date.

Finding Forever is continually booking out intake appointments. At times, we can be scheduled out several months in advance, but we do our best to move intakes forward as much as possible. You can come into our rescue anytime during business hours Tuesday-Friday 10am-4pm or Saturday 10am-2pm to read over and fill out paperwork and to pay the relinquishment fee.

Upon sign-up, we will provide you with cat carriers to transport the cats to us in. We require the cats to be transported to us in the carriers we provide UNLESS you are willing to donate the carrier you bring them to us in.

All cats MUST be friendly and able to be easily handled in order for us to intake them.
Dogs
Dog relinquishment survey
Currently, Finding Forever Rescue does not have onsite canine housing. All of our dogs are in loving foster homes. This means that we must schedule a time that works best for our fosters and you in order to take in a dog at this time.

If you are interested in relinquishing a dog please fill out our dog relinquishment survey above.
PLEASE NOTE THAT FILLING OUT A RELINQUISHMENT SURVEY DOES NOT OBLIGATE OR CONFIRM THAT FFAR WILL TAKE IN A DOG - IT ASSISTS IS IN OBTAINING IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE DOG AND HELPS US IN SEARCHING FOR A FOSTER HOME.

If FFAR can secure a foster for your dog, we will contact you to work on setting up an intake date. There is a $40 relinquishment fee per dog or $60 fee for litters surrendered when they are less than 4 months of age.
This fee is non-refundable for any reason, including if you find homes for the animals prior to their scheduled intake date.
