Our volunteers are the heart of everything we do. From helping at the rescue to keeping the thrift store running, every hour makes a real difference for the animals in our care.
Whether you can stop by once in a while or want to become part of the weekly crew, we are always excited to welcome extra helping hands! Volunteering here is a great way to meet people, find community, and spend time in a welcoming environment. Bring a friend, come make new ones, or just hang out with us while doing something meaningful.
We welcome everyone. Students completing school requirements, people needing community service hours, retirees looking for something fulfilling, animal lovers, families, or anyone simply looking for something to do are all encouraged to join us. There is no minimum or maximum age requirement. Minors are welcome as long as a parent or guardian is present during the first few visits.
We do our best to make volunteering comfortable and accessible for everyone. We happily work with lifting restrictions and other accommodations whenever possible so everyone can help in a way that feels safe and manageable.
Volunteer opportunities are available Tuesday through Friday from 10AM to 4PM and Saturdays from 10AM to 2PM
This is a flexible, come-and-go environment, so there is no pressure to commit to a set schedule. Stay for an hour or spend the whole day with us!
Completing the volunteer release form ahead of time is appreciated, but anyone is always welcome to stop by during business hours and jump in!
